Students who are Greek citizens and enroll in the Postgraduate Program through the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki they can, as long as they meet the criteria set by Greek legislation, due to low financial resources based on the national median disposable equivalent income) request an exemption from tuition fees. 

The number of exempt students will not exceed 30% of the total number of students admitted to the Program.

The right to the exemption of tuition fees due to economic or social criteria has those postgraduate students who meet the criterion of excellence during the first cycle of studies, which corresponds at least to the possession of a grade equal to or higher than seven and a half with excellent out of ten (7.5 /10).

The application for exemption from tuition fees is submitted by the interested party to the Secretariat of the Postgraduate Study Program after the completion of the selection process of the students at Postgraduate Study Program and within 15 days of the announcement of admission results.
